This year too, with the start of Cersaie, a new chapter of innovation in the design and technology sector of Italian Ceramics is inaugurated for the Sassuolo district.
Research has made further giant strides towards image quality and new production techniques.
The advancement of generative intelligence in the field of design promises further progress in the coming months, offering innovative tools for the creation of surfaces or objects with unconventional shapes. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in our work as designers.
.
In particular, we are witnessing a growing evolution of issues related to surface finishing, which is becoming increasingly realistic and technically advanced.
Current possibilities in managing surfaces with various finishes are revealing their crucial importance in high-end products. This is specifically reflected in the completion of a digital decoration process which sees the application of glue and grit, or other similar technologies; for example, structured surfaces are now perfected through the application of controlled digital smoothing, which allow to obtain areas of diversified finishing on the surface itself.
In conjunction with the Cersaie week, Tecnografica will host customers and partners with the now usual Tecno Tour, the series of complete guided tours through the company’s departments and laboratories. In this context, the headquarters showroom will present a new installation studied on various themes, including products developed in collaboration with Surfaces Technological Abrasives S.p.A., a leading company in the production of abrasive tools and treatments. These products, together with innovative design projects and important news on the processing of materials, aim to provide ideas and graphic technologies to recreate the authenticity of natural textures on ceramic surfaces in an extremely realistic way.
